Our visitor brought flashbacks of times from just before the War. It happened centuries ago and yet, everything is vivdly etched in my memories. Vivid, beccause Martha was still alive at that time. There are so many memories before the War, I don’t even know where to start from.
Martha died before I got a chance to propose to her and after her I didn’t get the chance to fall for anyone else. Her death couldn’t even be justified except for one reason, basal human nature. I was working remotely from a calm island in the Polynesian region at that time, which currently lies underneath our very own Dome City. Yes, the seas dried up, to an extent beyond recognition. She was placed as an aid worker in Europe when the news media flashed headlines of widespread riots.
